Anna Lising is a Filipina immigrant and mom of 3 (two humans and a dog). As Governor Inslee’s Senior Climate Advisor, she develops and leads Washington state’s strategic agenda related to building decarbonization, clean transportation, climate justice, renewable energy, and transmission. Anna has over 15 years of experience advancing clean energy and has held leadership roles within the federal, state, and city governments, as well as cleantech startups. She also led Washington, DC’s carbon neutrality efforts – developing policies and programs to accelerate clean energy deployment while centering frontline communities. Anna holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.
