Carlos Cordova is the Latin America and the Caribbean Lead coordinator and Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) Market Development Advisor at the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), where he supports the leading of IETA’s new LAC NCS initiatives. Mr. Cordova has more than thirteen years of experience working in Environment and Climate Change issues at the World Bank Group and the Inter-American Development Bank in both Washington DC and in the field. His areas of expertise are forestry, REDD+, and Carbon Pricing. Carlos holds a dual degree in Economics and International Development, and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
