Philipp LaHaela Walter is the Statewide Resource and Survey Forester of the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife. Philipp took on a leading role in the Department’s initiatives in Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES) projects including a number of forest carbon pilot projects across the state. He is also a member of the State Greenhouse Gas Sequestration Task Force and contributes to the State’s collaboration with the U.S. Climate Alliance.
