Jess Roberts is the VP of Ratings at Sylvera, a leading carbon data provider. In her role, Jess and her teams design ratings frameworks, processes and systems, as well as produce ratings for projects on the carbon markets. During her tenure at Sylvera, she has held multiple roles across the company to help develop its proprietary approach to carbon data.
Prior to Sylvera, Jess was a Geospatial Advisor at Resilience Constellation where she helped research, conceptualise and design products that helped improve climate resilience monitoring and mitigation.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Physical Geography and a Master of Science in Geographical Information Science from University of Edinburgh.
